Winder Power Successfully Re-Certifies ISO Accreditations

Winder Power is pleased to announce that, following a successful audit process, the company has been re-certified for its key ISO accreditations.

‪The re-certification includes ISO9001:2008 Quality Management Systems, ‪ISO14001:2004 Environmental Management Systems and ‪OHSAS18001:2007 Occupational Health and Safety Systems.

The audit was carried out by ACM, a UKAS accredited ISO certification body.

Achilles, a global leader and partner of choice for supply chain risk and performance management, recently also carried out audit of the company’s management systems.

The Achilles audit process includes two elements; a Management System Evaluation (MSE) in which Winder Power scored 97%, and also a site audit where the company attained a perfect 100%

Commenting on the audit, Group QA / HSE Manager Paul Fulton said; “We take our quality, health and safety responsibilities very seriously as they are a crucial part of our infrastructure, and our customers expect excellence in these areas.

Due to the hard work of all the team we have been able to satisfy those demands and the hugely positive feedback from Achilles means we can now continue to develop our continuous improvement programme.”

The benefit of Winder Power’s approach was further evidenced earlier this year with the award of a £9m term contract with NIE Networks.
