Winder Power is proud to announce its inclusion on the newly launched Fair Tax Map, the latest initiative from the Fair Tax Mark.
Winder Power is one of only 29 Fair Tax businesses in West Yorkshire, and one of just seven in the Leeds area.
Commenting on the map launch, Winder Power Chief Executive Laurence MacKenzie commented:
“We are committed to paying all of our taxes and we believe that subscribing to the Fair Tax Mark is a clear indication of this. The Fair Tax Map highlights the commitment to fairness amongst participating regional businesses.”
Winder Power was introduced to the scheme by energy provider SSE, which is a large customer of the transformer manufacturing company.
This is Winder Power’s latest initiative, which, along with recent accreditations such as the RoSPA Gold award for its excellent health and safety standards in 2016, continues to demonstrate Winder Power’s aims to be a trustworthy and responsible company and employer.
Launched in 2014, The Fair Tax Mark accreditation scheme rewards businesses that are good taxpayers. It’s the only scheme of its kind in the UK, bridging the gap between corporate responsibility and the wider tax justice movement.
