With health and safety forming a crucial part of the organisation’s main priorities, the team has worked tirelessly to improve processes, remove risk, and create a safer working environment for everybody.

Key to this has been the visual reminders of how important health and safety is, with daily stats updated in order to keep everyone focused on maintaining their safe working practices.

Having also recently received a ROSPA Commended award, this significant milestone confirms that when it comes to safety at work, nothing is more important to Winder Power than looking after its people.

Commenting on the announcement, QHSE manager Mark Kilbride said: “I’m delighted to be able to announce that we have achieved such a milestone for Winder Power’s safety performance. This great success can only be achieved through consultation, engagement and commitment from each employee, contractor and visitor at Winder Power. This speaks volumes about the culture within the team and the drive to become an interdependent company.”

Operations director Andy Pinkney added; “This is a fabulous achievement for the company, and 10 years with no Lost Time Injuries and Reportable Accidents is right up there with some of our greatest achievements as a business.

“The whole team has worked together to make health and safety our number one priority, and my thanks go to every single colleague and stakeholder who has contributed to this very impressive safety record. Long may it continue.”
